As the cold weather months have arrived, and the number of cases are on the rise, it is the perfect time to reinvest in some stay at home attire. Loungewear over the last few years, and even more so the last year or so has really shifted into being a much more elevated, and fashion forward category. Even more so as we're in the midst of a global pandemic, the market and demand to feel cozy, but cute as been higher than ever. We've put together some of our favorite items and looks for the ideal stay at home moment.
Oversized Always
An oversized knit is the perfect transitional piece to incorporate into your cozywear attire, as well as your streetstyle. I am constantly lounging around my apartment in my favorite oversized soft sweaters and hoodies, while also then pairing that same piece with denim and boots for a lunch date or dinner. It's just so easy! When I am wearing a matching set, I feel like I have my life together, even when I most definitely don't! And in the era of Instagram fashion, there are so many new brands making sets that I am absolutely obsessed with.
Classic Cashmere
Growing up I remember seeing my mother in cashmere loungewear and thinking was sort of silly to spend that kind of money on a pair of sweats, but now low and behold, I am my mother. At night you can constantly find me curled up on my couch with my glass of wine, or tea, and sink into my cashmere sets. Now in todays market their are so many different retailers though, that are able to sell cashmere at so many different price-points.
